Liverpool Comedy Cellar
Located at: 45 Hardman Street, Liverpool, United Kingdom
This cosy, but not cramped, underground comedy club has featured big acts seen on TV like Gary Delaney or Chris McCausland bound to get you laughing. Found at the Magnet on Hardman Street, this venue is one of the oldest music sites in the city, so if you're looking for a dance AND a laugh, look no further!
Laughterhouse Comedy
Located at: 13-15 Fenwick St, Liverpool L2 7LS
Another major player in the Liverpool scene. Laughter house is voted in the top 5 for the country, so you know you're in for a good gig! It's also Liverpool's longest comedy promoter with iconic acts performing such as John Bishop, Paul Sinha and Mick Miller.
They host regular weekend comedy nights on Friday and Saturday at 8pm at The Slaughterhouse on Fenwick Street alongside organising larger flagship events at prestigious venues like the Philharmonic Hall.
North Park Tavern
Located at: 392 Stanley Rd, Bootle L20 5AB
A short way out of the city centre, North Park Tavern is a cosy little boozer with a great selection of quirky indie beers on tap to enjoy. While it's a pub, it does host comedy events too to enjoy in their warm environment. Its dog friendly too, so if your dog likes that sort of thing bring them along (if your dog's sentient enough to understand comedy that should probably be an act in itself, to be fair).
Funnyboyz

Established in multiple venues across the country with hilarious comedy drag acts on show (there's even a few contestants from RuPauls's Drag race) this venue is sure to make your sides split with their interactive comedy experience. They might make a jab or two at you but that's half the fun, right?
